Home of BALLZlion. The town that isn't on any map.
Entry is permitted. Eye contact is not.
This site BLASTS the Ballsville anthem. Turn your volume to a responsible level and take your headphones off if you're sensitive.
Everybody asks where BALLZlion came from. The answer is Ballsville, a tiny coastal town that does not appear on any map, GPS, or Coast Guard chart. Some say that's because it's protected by an ancient volcano. Others say the mapmakers got too uncomfortable. He was born on its rocks, in a heatwave, to a family of very dramatic sea lions.
As a pup he joined the town's travelling circus and was trained to balance ballz on his nose. He mastered it in a weekend. Then he kept going. He now balances everything: your expectations, your group chat, your poor decisions at 2am. He does it with unmatched poise and a chest that has its own gravitational field.
He doesn't blink. He doesn't explain. He just arrives. π
Shipwrecked captain Rufus Ballsworth washes ashore, checks his compass, and declares the rock "Ballsville." Historians say the compass was broken. The name stuck. The compass was never seen again.
Mount Ballsmore blows its top. The sea boils. From the steam emerge the first sea lion elders, calm, wet, and visibly unbothered. The town has not been the same since.
The tent goes up. The acts: a balancing seal, a walrus strongman, and a clown who "never speaks of what he saw." Admission: one fish and your dignity.
Mayor Ballsworth III, a pelican, makes a decision (it was lunch). He has made none since. The town runs on vibes.
During the hottest night on record, a pup rolls out of the surf with one eyebrow already raised. The midwife crab reportedly whispers, "Oh. Oh."
BALLZlion balances the entire Town Council on his nose for forty-five minutes. Nobody remembers why. Everybody agrees it was a flawless performance.
The ocean ignites. BALLZlion rises from the fire, unburnt, unbothered, and exceptionally stacked. Ballsville exhales. The prophecy is awake.
Population: 1,337 (and rising, nobody is sure why).
Motto: "We Stand Behind Our Ballz."
Climate: Hot. Sus. Occasional lava.
Meetings are held on a rock. Attendance is mandatory. Eye contact is also mandatory. Minutes are taken by a crab and never read by anyone.
Where BALLZlion got his start. The tent is shaped suspiciously like the town's coat of arms. Nobody has ever asked why. Nobody will.
Famous for the "Double Scoop of Lava." The bartender has heard everything and judges everyone. Closing time is whenever BALLZlion looks at the clock.
Built to warn ships away. Ships keep coming anyway. The keeper says, "They always look. Every single time."
The sacred volcano. It erupts every time someone yells "BARK." Scientists are monitoring it. The scientists are also very uncomfortable.
"WELCOME TO BALLSVILLE: PLEASE DO NOT STARE." The word "NOT" has been scratched off by every tourist since the sign was built.
Sea lion. Balancer of all things. Rose from the flames. Has never said a word, only a look. The look says: "I know what you did."
A pelican who has not made a decision since 1994. Beloved. Unelected. Mostly asleep.
Crab. Runs the Salty Nuts Tavern. Knows every secret in town and has never repeated one. His pinch is the town's lie detector.
Walrus. Runs the Grand Ballz Circus with an iron flipper. Discovered BALLZlion and has been "just fine" ever since.
The only law enforcement. Speaks only by opening and closing. Has made zero arrests. Has seen things.
Hasn't left the tower since 1971. Writes down every ship that looks. The log is 40,000 pages long and says "they looked" on all of them.
"When the ocean burns and the chest rises,
the town shall be found, and all shall stare.
But he will look back."
β The Prophecy of Mount Ballsmore, carved on a rock no one can find
The official anthem of the town. It is playing right now. It will continue to play. Sing along. Out loud. We can hear you.
This mode makes everything, including the anthem, distorted, clipped and VERY LOUD, and the screen will shake.
Turn your volume down first. Take headphones OFF. Not for anyone sensitive to loud sound or motion.
